I bought this to replace an aging Samsung NC10 Netbook, for use both in tablet mode and with a keyboard. In fact the screen on the Fusion5 10” is the same size, but it’s much slimmer and lighter. I was keen to find a device with a minimum 4GB / 64GB to run Windows 10 effectively, and I added a 128GB Sandisk Ultra microSDXC card to get maximum storage – moving the standard documents, music, pictures and video folders onto it to leave maximum space on the main C:\ drive. Other reviews have commented on the excellent specifications, so I’ll just comment on my own usage in desktop and tablet mode. For desktop use the compatible docking case with keyboard has a magnetic coupling and a clever supporting stand, and adding a Bluetooth mouse is useful for any serious work. The magnetic coupling isn’t strong enough for the tablet-keyboard combination to be carried around open or used when sitting on a sofa, but this is when tablet mode is most appropriate. The tablet is nicely finished but really needs some protection when used without the keyboard case, so after careful consideration of dimensions I bought a Leather Case for Sony Xperia Z 10.1" Tablet which fits almost perfectly (just slightly over-sized in width) and has a hand strap and viewing stand (see photo) - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00E9WRNBO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 – the power and up-down buttons are obscured, but still usable when pressed through the fabric. I already had a separate Bluetooth keyboard, and find it handy to use this instead of the keyboard case, though the latter is more responsive when typing quickly. The tablet suddenly went dead after a couple of weeks but Fusion5 quickly supplied a replacement, so it’s reassuring that their UK-based customer service is very responsive. The replacement came with a completely up-to-date Windows 10 installation. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase, especially at the price, and like the flexibility of having the additional XperiaZ case and separate keyboard as well as the compatible Fusion5 keyboard case.

Solid, easy to use device. Decent speed, fast enough for personal use. A good purchase!

Excellent little machine, it's fast. compact not too heavy and great to use. Really easy to set up and use. The colour quality of the graphics is good, and the battery life lasts quite long time too. Really easy to connect to wifi.

Like most, my hardware needs have changed over the years, but the Fusion5 has the connectivity I need and works well alongside my office laptop. I’ve had Thinkpads, iPad Mini and iPad, but now I’m mostly working in the Windows environment. Thus the USB 3 and USB type C socket are most important to allow me to plug in my pen drive. I’ve abandoned Apple/iCloud because of their lack of connectivity. It works well and docks neatly and efficiently with the keyboard/case – unlike the iPad whose keyboard sometimes “fought against” the onboard keyboard. I unexpectedly received a free gift too --- a very useful zipping soft travel case! That hasn’t influenced this review. I am very pleased to have discovered the Fusion5 --- a wonderful and lightweight mobile tablet --- and at a very reasonable price. A. Scott, Dundee.

Bought this with trepidation to be used as a front of house customer food service system that staff use to make up an order after a customer has paid at the till. After having written the WinForm code I was pleasantly surprised about how easy it was to setup, connect to the WiFi, install the software and other requirements as although have been using computers for 45 years this is first time I have had to use Windows 11 with all its quirks. The touchscreen is very responsive, has just the right amount of interfaces, the 1920x1200 resolution is more than enough, and the power socket is solid unlike systems such as early SurfacePro. Now I have tested will be buying another 5 units so each member of serving staff has their own tablet. I purchased a solid stand from another supplier which makes it great on a busy counter where could get knocked about.

I like to carry a tablet with me when I travel so I have a bit more real estate to do what I want on the net. I bought this because I don’t need anything with bells and whistles on. I just need something simple and light. The tablet comes with Windows 11. It needs charging for around 7 hours before you turn it on. Once on, the set up for Windows 11 will download any updates that are available. Windows 11 is installed in “S” (Safe) mode which means you can only download software from the Microsoft Store. When you try and install software from somewhere else it will open a Microsoft web page and will ask you if you want to get out of “S” Mode. It takes all of 15 seconds. (Once out of "S" mode you can't go back). The tablet itself feels like a quality product. The screen quality, 1920 x 1200, is excellent and the touchscreen is sensitive enough so you don’t have to keep poking the screen before something happens. The tablet is also nice and responsive. I have plugged in a 256GB micro-SD card and this was identified straight away. On the back is a little hatch that gives you access to the installed 128GB M2 card so there is always the option of upgrading this too. This is my fifth tablet, two Dell and two Microsoft, and for the money I think this is excellent.

Very pleased with my Fusion5 tablet, I use it to connect to my TV for streaming often. It's a little slow sometimes but for the money you can't complain.

Was after a table that I could use just like my laptop and had windows 11 and Microsoft office on it, this had both so was perfect for the job and at just £210 was great value. Does everything "I" want it to do, only down side is the battery life is not the best, only had it 2 weeks but apart from that so far so good.

Purchased primarily due to the dedicated charging port and extra USB2/C & HDMI port. I was sceptical that £200 would produce usability yet it does so admirably. The battery life could be better but there needs to be a compromise at this price point and with the dedicated charging port its a compromise any user should be able to overcome. One minor niggle is that the volume rocker switch is unintuitive . Sitting atop of the tablet left is up and right down which goes against every tablet and phone I've had the last 30+ years. Minus one star for this. Its just not correct. Overall a good tablet for the money. Primarily being used for amateur radio SOTA and field days with portable Lithium-Ion back up batteries.
